Paramahansa Yogananda visited Kansas City and conducted a lecture series in January 1932. It was on this trip that he met James J. Lynn who became one of his most advanced disciples. James J. Lynn was later given the spiritual name Rajarsi Janakananda which means King of Saints. He contributed greatly to the organization of Self-Realization Fellowship and was instrumental in putting it on a strong financial footing. He became SRF's second President when Paramahansa Yogananda passed in 1952. More about James J. Lynn
