Located in the historic Hyde Park district of Kansas City, Missouri,
the chapel was constructed in 1941 of hard Lannon stone.
For over 50 years, the chapel served as the Pilgrim Luthern Church for the Deaf
and was known as the "Church of Silence."
The Kansas City Meditation Group has been meeting at the Chapel since 1999.
