Jesus Christ and Krishna (the
Christ of India) are important to Paramahansa Yogananda's mission to the
West. He pointed out the similarities in these two world religious figures
and sought to bring out the best of East and West. Yogananda taught the
essence of both original Chistianity
and original Yoga.
